Elite crime fighting unit DPCI spokesman, Brigadier Hangwani Mulaudzi, has finally fallen on his sword. This comes almost five years after Forensics for Justice slated him for his dishonest role in State Capture. On the night Forensics for Justice founder was released after four days of illegal detention and torture, Mulaudzi lied through his teeth, to cover up the crimes of Zuma loyalists.
However, less than a month after Forensic for Justice called for Mulaudzi’s dismissal, he fell on his own sword, rather than face the music. We issued a report that showed he was engaged in unlawful fund-raising from ‘friends’ in the Lottery Commission, during the same period the DPCI were investigating the lotteries for fraud and corruption. Forensics for Justice will continue to expose and bring to account dishonest cops such as Mulaudzi.
