Zuma captured the criminal justice system because he feared prison. The same rationale informed his decision to appoint the now disgraced Advocate Mkhwebane as the Public Protector. By her dishonest conduct, she has brought the office of the Public Protector into disrepute and invalidated even the she must be held accountable.
We invite Mkhwebane to take action against us, as she has threatened to do, for ‘insulting’ her. If she does, we will launch an application directly to the Constitutional Court to have section 9 (1) of the Public Protector Act declared unconstitutional.
Our final message to Mkhwebane (and to Zuma) is:
‘HANDS OFF OUR DEMOCRACY’
